#4 A great release date: December 14, 2017
As we approach the end of the year is approaching the time when Star Wars returns to return to the cinema, this time with the eighth episode of the main franchise: "Star Wars: The Last Jedi." The final trailer will be falling, the latest information suggests that we could have it for a couple of weeks, but apparently that little advance of two minutes (more or less) will be just a brief look at the story that Rian has assembled Johnson.
As we read in the web page of Cineworld Cinemas, "The Last Jedi" would last 150 minutes. These two and a half hours would make it the longest in the franchise, surpassing 142 of "Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones". Of course at the moment it is not confirmed.
Rian Johnson directs and writes "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" taking J.J. Abrams, who is only here with producer Kathleen Kennedy. Filming took place at Pinewood studios in London from February to July 2016 and will be released on December 15, 2017.
As for the cast, Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker, Carrie Fisher as Leia Organa, Adam Driver as Kylo Ren, Daisy Ridley as King, John Boyega as Finn, Oscar Isaac as Poe Dameron, Lupita Nyong'o as Maz Kanata, Domhnall Gleeson such as General Hux, Gwendoline Christie as Captain Phasma, Andy Serkis as Supreme Leader Snoke and Kelly Marie Tran as Rose.
